Yes, standard installation is provided free of charge when you purchase MOVON LockMate through outright purchase or rental. However, installation is not included for purchases of bare units.
Yes, MOVON LockMate is SIRIM certified.
To proceed with installation, the following conditions must be met:
- Door is in good condition (no cracks or structural damage)
- Door thickness is between 36mm – 60mm
- Mortise gap of 110mm
- Minimum grill gap clearance of 72mm
- Suitable door types: Wooden door, Fire-rated door, Double-leaf door, Security door
The entire installation process typically takes 2 to 3 hours.
For outright purchase, 2 years warranty. For rental plan, 3 years warranty.
No warranty included for bare unit.
MOVON warranty covers manufacturing defects, including:
- Physical components like the handle and mortise
- Issues related to the PIN code or fingerprint recognition malfunctions
– Outright customers: You may self-relocate the lock. If you require MOVON’s dismantle and reinstall service, a labour fee of RM250 will apply (subject to distance and additional parts if needed).
– Rental customers: You are entitled to one (1) free relocation during the rental contract period. MOVON will handle the dismantling and reinstallation, but you will need to transport the lock unit yourself. Additional relocations or relocations after the contract period will incur a labour fee of RM250 (subject to distance and parts required).
